what is it about?

In this free 4-day World Creator Bootcamp, you will create a finished environment in Unreal Engine 5.

By the end of Day 2, you will already have a working interior scene – an actual room with materials and lighting.

Other than that, in this Bootcamp, you will:

What past participants think

See What Past Participants Said About the Hungarian World Creator Bootcamp

“I learned a lot, mainly about how to use the software, but also about the theory behind it. I already knew that with guided teaching and consistent time investment you can improve a lot in a relatively short time, but looking back, the scale of that improvement is what surprised me.”

Róbert

“I’m really enjoying all of this, because even as a beginner I can put together a scene using downloaded assets.”

Levente

“It was perfect for me exactly as it was. For me, this is a turning point, the start of something new, and I’m really happy you brought this to me. I feel like the sun came out and an adventure began: one that isn’t wasted time (like time spent gaming, for example), but an investment: every minute counts, and it’s still just as enjoyable.”

Alexandra

“I realized during the bootcamp that I prefer following structured material over having to hunt everything down on my own. I can usually find what I need if I keep searching, but the time it takes is on a completely different level.”

Péter

“What struck me during the bootcamp was that this is what I’ve been waiting for: to be able to create something like this. Even in games, I’ve stopped caring most about gameplay; what really pulls me in is the environment and how customizable it is. I love imagining strange worlds, and now, with your help, I can finally build them too!”

Alex

“This bootcamp was absolutely spot on. A thorough, well-structured kickstart and honestly, fun to follow.”

Áron

“Personally, it gave me a big push. I’d tried Unreal before, but it never went further than opening one or two demo scenes. Even from that, I could tell how deep the rabbit hole goes, and that learning it on my own would take a lot of time, so I dropped it. Compared to that, in just 3 days I got to the point where I have a video I made myself, along with the whole scene.”

Bence

“Since these webinars are short, I think you used the time really well. It was useful because you teach how to actually use the software and that’s already enough for someone to start on this path. I also liked the way you presented it, because you emphasized many times that making mistakes is something you need to do, since that’s how we learn and improve and that it’s completely normal. Overall, the bootcamp really motivated me to work with Unreal, and it feels worth it.”

Tamás

“It made me want to keep going on this path. I’m really looking forward to continue this!”

András

“I’m a complete beginner, and it felt challenging in a good way. I’m not hopeless now. Things finally feel structured in my head, instead of a total chaos.”

Szandra

“This challenge opened up new horizons for me. Like I wrote before, until now I’ve only been creating models in different programs but this really motivated me to explore a new branch of the 3D world and level up the skills I already have.”

Bence

“I really liked that you put together this free bootcamp, because it gave a lot of people (even complete beginners) a chance to test themselves, get real hands-on experience, and feel that sense of achievement if they completed the challenge, without having to dive super deep into the topic. For a beginner it feels amazing to create a 3D visualization from zero, and it pushes you to want to learn more.”

Ádám

“Before this, I’d asked an Unreal-savvy friend for help once or twice, but it was completely different working on the scene on my own using your videos. It means a lot to me that you start from the basics and explain things without rushing.”

Luca

“The bootcamp gave me a really solid foundation, and it was a great teaser that made me want to continue learning Unreal.”

Henrik

“The bootcamp was a huge help in making sure you don’t wander around wasting time when it comes to building the essential fundamentals.”

Levente

“The bootcamp mainly gave me motivation and great guidance.”

Miklós

“The bootcamp gave me a solid overall foundation in the world of Unreal, the software itself, and the huge potential it holds.”

Péter

“The bootcamp gave me a great overall picture of what the software is capable of (and I’m sure it can do a lot more than this), and how quickly you can put together an impressive-looking space, even as a beginner.”

Endre

“It was very well structured, I learned a lot, and I’m already using Unreal more confidently.”

Dániel

“I liked the whole thing. You explained it really well! Even as a complete beginner, it was easy to follow.”

Andrea

“I could actually finish a scene for the first time and it looks amazing. Thank you András!”

István

“I liked that you also thought about absolute beginners and even showed the Unreal install. And you clearly explained why Unreal is future-proof and gives marketable skills.”

Ferenc

“All good. I’m glad you’re doing this! You come across as genuinely credible.”

Dénes

“As a total beginner, everything was interesting! My favorite part was the UI walkthrough.”

Csaba

“Everything was explained in detail, in a clear and understandable way.”

Richárd

“I loved that you showed how to import assets and how to pull in what you need from an asset pack properly.”

Péter

“I liked the practical part, the interface, the shortcuts. I love learning workflow techniques!”

Gábor

“What I liked is the help in installing and the tips for people with more modest PCs.”

Virág

“It was a really well-structured session. Thank you!”

László

“I liked the whole thing. It was dense at first, but you shared a lot of useful details.”

What to expect day by day?

Here’s The Daily Schedule for the World Creator Bootcamp:

We’ll kick off the World Creator Bootcamp with a short prep video, which I’ll post on Friday, March 13. Its job is to make sure that on Monday’s live session we don’t waste time on things like: “Okay, click here… wait for the download… why isn’t it working… can you see this button?”

Outcome: Confident navigation and basic understanding of how Unreal Editor works.

We’ll break down how a typical environment is built, then start creating a very simple interior scene and walk through the environment design process step by step. Also, we’ll prep the scene so that the next day we can start leveling it up and making it look more impressive.

Live session’s date: Monday, March 16, 2026, 7 PM (Budapest time, CET, UTC+1)

Outcome: You’ll have a technically solid interior scene by the end of the day.

We’ll finish building the interior scene and polish it so it’s ready for output the next day. By this point, you’ll have a clear top-down view of the full environment design pipeline – you’ll know what comes next and why.

Live session’s date: Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 7 PM (Budapest time, CET, UTC+1)

Outcome: You’ll have a scene that looks pretty good.

This will be the day you get a real, tangible result: we’ll render a 5-second animation. On the top of that, you will learn about inspiration sources and how to set realistic expectations when it comes to learn Unreal.

Live session’s date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 7 PM (Budapest time, CET, UTC+1)

Outcome: You'll have a 5-second long animation.

We’ll go through the roadmap for how you can reach market-ready skills and finally, I’ll show you what the next steps are after the Bootcamp.

Live session’s date: Thursday, March 19, 2026, 7 PM (Budapest time, CET, UTC+1)

Outcome: You’ll clearly see the path to market-ready skills.

Who's behind the Bootcamp?

andrasronai_avatar_02_cropped

I’m András Rónai – originally trained as an architect, but even at university I preferred spinning 3D models of buildings around instead of designing them on paper.

Since 2002, the 3D world has been pulling me in for 8 hours a day (sometimes 14). If I had to put a title on what I do, I’d probably go with Environment Artist. I’ve been using Unreal day-to-day since 2015, and I’ve been making a living from this skillset for years, mainly in archviz and filmmaking, working remotely from Hungary.

I’ve been working with Final Pixel in the last 5 years, and through them, I got into international virtual production projects. I had the luck to work with Oscar winner and Emmy-nominated professionals. Celebrities who stood in front of the LED-wall environments included Alyson Hannigan, Tyra Banks, Vivica A. Fox, and David Olusoga.

I was also flown to London a couple times for studio work. One of those projects was for Netflix’s Rebel Moon, where director Zack Snyder visited the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

All the Questions (and Answers) in One Place That Have Ever Come up About the Bootcamp:

The first webinar of this Bootcamp will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM (Budapest time), online via Zoom. The following live sessions will be held from Tuesday to Thursday at the exact same time.

Since I live in Hungary, the default timezone is CET (Central European Time), or UTC+1 or simply just Budapest time.

Plan with 60-70 minutes per live session, without the Q&A – answering questions might take up to another 20 minutes. With that said, 90 minutes is a reasonable length.

You have two options:

  • Join live (strongly recommend)
  • Catch up with the replays after each live session

All recordings will be available in the Bootcamp Dashboard, so you can watch (or rewatch) everything there.

Replay access is available until Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Budapest time). After that, the videos will no longer be accessible.

Replay access is available until Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Budapest time). After that, the videos will no longer be accessible.

We’ll be operating in learning mode (making a small environment, covering the fundamentals) so you don’t need a monster PC for that.

A practical baseline looks like this:

  • Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 7 1700 or Intel Core i5 10th Gen or later
  • Graphics card (GPU): have at least 4GB of VRAM (2GB can work but you’ll hit the limits pretty quickly) – Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560
  • System memory (RAM): 16GB is recommended (8GB is possible but will be tighter, especially with 2GB of VRAM)
  • Storage: a decent SSD is strongly recommended (faster installs and project loads)

Absolutely!

In fact, this Bootcamp was built to be as beginner-friendly as possible – so even if Unreal is completely new to you, these 4 days will give you a strong start.

You don’t need advanced 3D knowledge. If you already have some basic 3D experience, you’ll probably move faster – but even if you don’t, you can still follow along and get real value from the Bootcamp.

And you don’t need to prepare anything in advance (not even installing Unreal): just show up. I’ll guide you through a clear, step-by-step process and explain everything right when you need it.

Yep, the Bootcamp is completely FREE to attend.

There’s no catch – at the end, you’ll have the option to continue with the full program if you want. But that’s totally optional.
